Call for test knitters: a cardigan for Brooklyn Tweed

drawing of cardigan overlaid on photos of knitted swatches in grey yarn

I’ve got a new design coming up with Brooklyn Tweed for Spring 2021 and I’m looking for test knitters! This is a secret test so it will be conducted in private by email (and optionally via Slack). Below you will find some information about the design and pattern. If you are interested, please fill out the form at the end of the post!

DEADLINE:
23 October (10 weeks)

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Confidentiality! The pattern will be published in Spring ‘21. No photos or details of the pattern may be shared publicly until publishing
  • Completed garment and photos (preferably modelled)
  • Yards / metres used
  • Any feedback on the pattern and design you may have
  • Optional if you are on Ravelry: A Ravelry project page in the lead-up to the pattern launch

After completion, you will receive a coupon for one of my self-published patterns, and a digital copy of the finished pattern when it’s published.

DESIGN:
A sideways cardigan with 3/4 length dolman sleeves. Design to fit with 8-10” (20-25 cm) positive ease. The body is knit in two pieces, sideways from the centre back out to the sleeves. The cardigan features an all-over wavy stitch pattern that transforms into straight stripes towards the sleeves. The stitch patterns are both charted and written.
